Forest School

What a difference a week makes! The weather was glorious this afternoon for the second session of Forest School. No soggy clothes or feet for us this week!

Today we made homes for animals which is one of our 50 Things to do at Swan Lane First School activities.

We had a great time working together to create habitats for the cuddly animals (soft toys).

As you can see from all the smiles on display...

We learned all about how animals build homes to provide themselves with shelter and protection from predators. We also learned about how humans have eyes on the front of their face, where as lots of other animals have eyes on the sides of their heads to help them detect when a predator might be approaching.

It was great fun having the opportunity to work with people that we don't usually work with too.
