Mindfulness Colouring

On Friday, as part of our PSHE lesson we put some calming music on and began colouring in our personalised bookmarks. Georgia thanked Mrs Hurst at the end of the lesson as she enjoyed it so much! What a lovely thing to do. We discussed the importance of finding a calm space when sometimes we feel overwhelmed by our emotions. We talked about visualising our favourite place, when we can't be there and using that to focus on to calm ourselves down. Mindfulness colouring is a very relaxing activity and something that we will continue to do throughout the year. 

Here are our bookmarks so far. Once they are complete, we will then laminate them and use them to hold our place in our choosing books in class. 😊
