Well you awesome lot managed to get 100% in the first week of Year 4! ๐๐ผ So remember on Wednesday to leave your uniform at home and come into school in your own clothes.
This week in Numeracy we have been looking at place value and today we focused on numbers to 10,000. We used place value charts and counters to make numbers up to 10,000. We then took turns in making a number for our partners who had to read the number that had been made for them. Well done 4HT!
We have had such an exciting couple of days. Yesterday, we got to do a Zoom call with Pudsey and his friend Nina. Here they are saying hello to us all and the next photo is Pudsey having a go at hula-hooping! Then today, we got to come to school in non-school uniform and wearing something spotty or Pudsey-themed. Here are some photos...
Thank you to you all for the generous donations to the Poppy Appeal. We would also like to commend the children on how sensitively and compassionately they behaved during the one minute silence we did in school. They really were a credit to you for the way they conducted themselves. I think it was made more meaningful after spending time in class learning about World War Two. On that note, we would also like to share the artwork the children produced based on The Blitz as they are now on display on the balcony. We think you will agree that they look fantastic!
