 Whoop whoop, we achieved 100% last week and therefore enjoyed some Maltesers this afternoon. I will liaise with the office and update you with when our Non-School Uniform Day will be.

 Well, we are very impressed with the homework that we have received this week. You took on the challenge of creating some drawings of the crayons from the book and have presented them wonderfully!  10 Dojos were awarded, much to the delight of those children who had completed their homework and they are now on display in the classroom. Well done! Remember, there are 10 Dojos on offer this week as well if you complete some homework on the Great Barrier Reef. Look on the Year 4 page for a copy of the Big Writing letter if you can't find yours. 

 On Friday, we were continuing with our unit on Electricity and Mrs Hurst presented us with a group of cards with various objects on them.  We had a great discussion in our table groups as to whether the objects used electricity or not and had to sort the items into two groups - uses electricity and does not electricity.

And finally can we take this opportunity to thank you for the lovely pictures, cards and generous gifts that we have been given this week. We feel thoroughly spoilt! We are so proud of the Christmas cards and calendars that we have made in school and brought home to you today. We hope that you enjoy displaying them at home as much as we have enjoyed making them. As Scarlett and Mhia weren't here today, we thought we would use theirs to show you some examples and then they can show theirs to everyone at home too. 

 We have had a great couple of days coming off timetable and celebrating Christmas and the end of this term.  We had a good boogie in the hall with everyone in Year 4 and played some party games. We were so good at musical statues, we made it hard for the adults to try and get us out!  It wasn't long before the conga began... We have been very crafty too, making Christmas cards, designing Christmas jumpers and making elf door hangers.  We used cool colours for the Christmas tree and warm colours for the background.
